Fiona Sundari Law

Fiona – spiritual name Sundari – teaches yoga classes and facilitates yoga nidra. She creates a friendly, warm and encouraging space, combined with long experience and ongoing personal enquiry, freeing students to connect with their inner Self.

Her retreat place, Viveka Gardens Yoga Farm at West Leigh in Mid Devon, is a manifesting vision of her experience that yoga practices reconnect us to our source of life. Here community and visitors tap into the vital source of energy through yoga, food growing and nature connection to develop serenity and build potential for joyful living.

Fiona was called to study in the Sivananda tradition in 1996, and has taught regularly since 2001. She developed a yogic lifestyle alongside work and raising a family. She completed the Advanced Teacher Training (500 hours) in 2003 and is a ‘Bhaskara’ twice over through the Sadhana Intensive of deep pranayama/mudra/bandha energetic work. She has taught countless classes, workshops and retreats at the Sivananda organisation’s ashrams and centres, as well as serving full time.

Fiona teaches and practices yoga in a full context, integrating the four paths of yoga: Raja Yoga (the 8-limbed Royal Path), Bhakti Yoga (devotion), Karma Yoga (selfless service) and Jnana Yoga (study of Vedanta, yoga philosophy). She is also a trained Yoga Nidra Facilitator and Life Coach (Sankalpa Coaching).

In teaching yoga she aims to enable the kind of personal growth, peace and understanding she has experienced, humbly and proudly under the grace of her teachers.

“Health is wealth. Peace of mind is happiness. Yoga shows the way.”
